World Series Tickets at the Fenway park

Redsox won the ALCS 2007 and are going to play the world series against the Colorodo Rockers from Wednessday... So I was thinking of watching a game and tried to buy the tickets from stubhub yesterday ... and can you guess wats the price of the tickets... ????

$1350 for a ticket that was $40 in regular pre season match... and $850 for the ticket which was $23 (bleachers).... I was astonished and it was hard to believe if any one would buy a ticket for that price... you believe it or not... 30 min later... those 10 $1350 tickets were down to 2 and 25 $850 were all gone... I was just watching the computer screen for 10 min with my mouth WIDE OPEN...

$850 - that was a little more than my two months salary 5 years ago... when I was working partime as a student for my university library in Alabama... WOW.... i guess they are not Redsox fans they are Redsox freaks... Tomorrow it will be a stadium full of freaks...

You know... The bleacher tickets in Colorodo is $250 + Air charge $230 + Hotel for a day and food $100 = $580 ... even if two redsox fan fly there it will be cheaper than watching the game in FENWAY PARK....

the costliest tickets are 10500, 17800, 19500, 20589 DOLLARS..................... I want to see the person who buys those ticket......

Infact I have seen Redsox fans tenting infront of Fenway park three days in advance for the Game 1 of the world series... 3 days... in cold, in sun, day and nite... they literally have verizon wifi on their laptop, a heater to keep them warm, Small boyz rolling in their sleeping bag in the streets near the fenway park... Already the Q has increased till the Kenmore station ...

Well if you ask me... the cheapest and easiest place to watch your RED SOX Game is your living room couch...

If its Rajinikanth in INDIA... its Red Sox in America...
